Bengals Game Sunday: Bengals vs Chargers odds and prediction for NFL Week 13 game
The Cincinnati Bengals are 7-4 and entering a critical game against the 6-5 Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The winner of this game will own the head-to-head tiebreaker that could come in handy for the playoff seedings.
After seemingly hitting rock bottom following a blowout loss to the Browns, the Bengals have looked great in the two games after their Week 11 BYE. They blew out the Raiders and took the Steelers to the woodshed and now sit 3-1 in the AFC North, a division that many felt could be the best in the league this year. That’s quite the accomplishment.
This game was a candidate to be flexed into Sunday Night Football this week but the NFL ultimately went with the Chiefs and Broncos showdown for that slot instead. This still feels like a mistake, as Joe Burrow vs Justin Herbert is going to be quite the quarterback matchup.
Be that as it may, this is still one of the best games on tap in Week 13.
Bengals vs Chargers Odds Week 13
Per WynnBET, Cincinnati is a 3.0-point favorite over the Bolts with a money line grab of -160. The Chargers have a money line of +130. The over/under is set at 50.0. With the home team always getting three points given to them, Vegas really seems to believe the odds for this game could be even. The over/under also indicates that Vegas sees this being a high-scoring game and that’s not surprising either.
Bengals vs Chargers Prediction Week 13
Ooh this is a tough game to pick because every team in the AFC is so gosh darn unpredictable. We’ve seen both of these teams really whiff against lesser teams, with the Bengals falling to the Bears and Jets this year and Los Angeles falling to Minnesota and Denver.
With that said, it’s hard to pick against the Bengals right now. They’re red-hot coming off two blowout wins while the Chargers are reeling after falling to the Broncos in blowout fashion.
With all of that in mind, I’m going to predict a Bengals win by a score of 35-31.
