The Cincinnati Bengals are 7-4 after taking down the Pittsburgh Steelers (now 5-5-1) and moving to 3-1 in the AFC North. This was a complete butt-whooping at the hands of the Bengals, as they won 41-10 and the Steelers couldn’t do anything on offense or defense.

Typically, I like to do a ‘winners and losers’ segment following every Bengals game but I scrapped that this week because there weren’t any losers from this one. It’s rare when a team plays a nearly perfect game against a division rival but the Bengals did just that vs. the Steelers and it was glorious.

Since we’re not doing winners and losers this week and instead focusing on the positives from the 41-10 victory, let’s take a look at eight shining stars from the win that was at Paul Brown Stadium.

8. Eli Apple

The Eli Apple redemption tour continues on, as after a rough start to the season in coverage (and he still hasn’t been tremendous in that department), the cornerback has recorded an interception in two straight games. His pick in this game came on the Steelers’ first possession when Ben Roethlisberger’s pass went right into the arms of Apple.

The Bengals tacked on a field goal as a result of the interception and in these divisional showdowns, you’ll take any points you can get. Apple might not be great in coverage but he’s becoming a ball hawk and that’s a good way to make up for the lack of coverage skills.

Eli Apple was a shining star this week.
