7. Evan McPherson

Not even a week after deciding on “Money Mac” as his preferred nickname, Evan McPherson had himself another top-notch day as the kicker of the Cincinnati Bengals.

McPherson connected on both field goals he was asked to attempt and also knocked through all five extra-point attempts as well. He has just one missed extra point on the year and has only missed three field goals all season.

Money Mac accounted for 11 of the Bengals’ 41 points on Sunday and while the game was a blowout, in a non-blowout, those 11 points are critical. Spending a fifth-round pick on McPherson isn’t looking stupid at all now, is it?

Money Mac is a shining star for the Bengals this week.

6. Trey Hendrickson

Another game, another sack for Trey Hendrickson. People questioned the Bengals for shelling out a boatload of cash on Hendrickson when he had just one solid season in New Orleans while Carl Lawson was a constant contributor for Cincinnati but we’re seeing why that is now.

Hendrickson has 10.5 sacks on the year and continues to be a freak of nature on defense. In this game, he totaled two quarterback hits and one sack, feasting on yet another quarterback.

Once again, Hendrickson has been worth every penny and he’s one of the Bengals’ shining stars for this game.
