One of the biggest success stories for Cincinnati this year has been the turnaround of their defensive line. Leading the charge has been Trey Hendrickson, who has been one of the most impressive defensive players in the league.
With over 10 sacks up to this point, Hendrickson is in a prime position to add to that total in this game. The Chargers will likely have to throw the ball to keep up with the high-power Bengals offense, and that will give Hendrickson plenty of opportunities to make an impact play. He’s going to get after Justin Herbert.
Bengals will win the turnover battle with at least two turnovers
Last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers, turnovers were huge factors in the Bengals blowing the game away. With multiple turnovers, including a pick-six, the Bengals were able to keep the Steelers at bay all game.
The defense will continue their hot streak and force at least two turnovers. This will be the chance for the defense to help their young quarterback, Joe Burrow, by keeping Herbert off-balance throughout the game.
