Cincinnati Bengals Winners

Joe Burrow

Throwing a football accurately is difficult enough as is but throw in having a dislocated pinky and that makes the job that much more difficult. Joe Burrow had this happen to him in the loss (and on the first series, at that) yet went out there and did everything he could to help propel his team to victory.

While the final stats aren’t eye-popping (the two interceptions and lost fumble, in particular), Burrow showed how tough he truly is. He threw for 300 yards and a touchdown while rushing in for another touchdown as well, all with a dislocated finger.

Defensive Line

The pass-rush has been very hit and miss this season but they were on fire in Sunday’s loss, getting after Justin Herbert all afternoon long. Herbert was sacked four times and hit 10 times total, making it difficult for him to make a ton of those amazing plays he typically makes.

Vonn Bell, Trey Hendrickson, and Larry Ogunjobi all had sacks while B.J. Hill and Sam Hubbard had half a sack to their names. It was a dominating day for the d-line.

Tee Higgins

While Ja’Marr Chase continues to fade more into the background, Tee Higgins continues to shine as the season progresses. Higgins was the recipient of Burrow’s lone touchdown pass and finished the day with nine grabs for 138 yards. He’s been spectacular in recent weeks.
