The full 2022 Pro Bowl roster will be revealed Wednesday night at 8 PM EST. While the Cincinnati Bengals are typically one of the least represented teams (especially during their two-win 2019 season and four-win 2020 campaign), they should have a few guys make the exhibition this go-around.

Let’s take a look at four Bengals who have the best chance to make the Pro Bowl, which is set to take place on Sunday, Feb. 6. These players were picked because of their impressive 2021 seasons but also because casual NFL fans might know who they are.

4. Trey Hendrickson

After the Bengals finished the 2020 season in dead last in the sacks category, they let Carl Lawson — their 2020 sack-leader — walk in free agency and instead signed Trey Hendrickson to a four-year deal. People weren’t happy about it but all of those people are gladly eating their words now.

Hendrickson has been amazing during his inaugural season in Cincinnati, totaling 13 sacks through 14 games. There have only been two games this season where Hendrickson hasn’t recorded a sack and he’s riding a 10-game sack streak (though he did have just half a sack this past week, but hey — It still counts!).

There are plenty of pass-rushing threats in the AFC who could keep Hendrickson out of the Pro Bowl but he’s certainly the defensive player with the best shot to make it to the exhibition game in February. Maybe he doesn’t initially get the nod but as people decline the invite, Hendrickson should be able to find his way to Vegas in February.
