The Cincinnati Bengals righted the ship Sunday against the Denver Broncos and as a result, find themselves once again atop the AFC North, this time with three games left. The Bengals gutted, ground, and hustled their way past the Broncos in very workmanlike fashion, relying on stout defense, timely passing, and most importantly mistake-free football.

After two consecutive home losses characterized by sloppy ball security, Zac Taylor and company went back to basics and played ball control with tough defense and a premium on ball security. Had the Bengals followed that plan either of the two previous weeks, perhaps we wouldn’t be talking about this week’s tilt against the Baltimore Ravens as maybe the most important game of Taylor’s tenure.

Such as it is, the Bengals welcome the Ravens to Paul Brown Stadium with the chance to effectively all but end their season and claim the North.

Baltimore is reeling after three straight losses, numerous injuries, and COVID-related issues, but are still extremely dangerous. If the Bengals are to lock down the division and give all of Bengal Nation a Merry Christmas, the following three questions must be answered.
