Christmas Day is almost here and the Cincinnati Bengals are hoping that Santa gives them these four players for Christmas in 2022. Now, it’s worth noting that not all of these players are realistic options but that’s why it’s a wish list.

This offseason, the Bengals need to hit the offensive line pretty hard, as Quinton Spain and Riley Reiff are hitting free agency, Trey Hopkins isn’t the answer at center, and right guard has been a complete and total nightmare this season.

As a result of the Bengals’ offensive line struggles, we’ll have a few o-linemen on this list because that’s easily the area that needs the most fine-tuning this spring.

With all of that said, let’s dive into four players the Bengals are hoping to have land in the Queen City for the 2022 season.

Tyler Linderbaum (Center)

As I alluded to earlier, Hopkins isn’t the answer at center. He’s struggled this season and that’s going to put Cincinnati in a position to find a new center whether it’s in the draft or in free agency.

The best center prospect out there is Tyler Linderbaum out of Iowa. Now I know Bengals fans might be scarred for life considering how the Billy Price experiment went but Linderbaum is a different guy and worth spending a first-round pick on.

Linderbaum originally played on the defensive line but he was moved to the offensive line in 2020 and excelled as a center. There’s a chance Cincinnati can draft the Iowa center in the first round of the draft and if he’s sitting on the board when it’s time to draft, they’d be foolish to pass up on him with how big of a need center is.
