With the Cincinnati Bengals completely curb-stomping a Baltimore Ravens team held together by duct tape, the good guys are 9-6 and will have a winning record for the first time since 2015. It was a big win for the stripes, as they’re now in sole possession of first place in the AFC North.

With the 41-21 victory, I didn’t think it was right to do a traditional winners and losers article because aside from giving up 125 yards to Mark Andrews and allowing some third-and-long conversions, everyone played pretty well.

So, with that in mind, I looked at the seven biggest stars from this game and included them in a shining stars piece. It was hard to rank them considering just how good everyone was but I did the best I could there.

Let’s get started!

7. Evan McPherson

The rookie kicker continues to show that drafting a kicker isn’t a stupid move. Evan McPherson knocked through two of his three field-goal attempts and connected on all five extra points, meaning he was responsible for 17 of the Bengals’ 41 points.

Yes, McPherson missed one field goal but the game was pretty out of reach at that point so it was hard to be too mad about that. McPherson, once again, is a shining star for the Bengals.
