The Cincinnati Bengals are 9-6 and currently in control of their own destiny as far as winning the AFC North is concerned. They have to win one of their final two games in order to clinch the division but that won’t be easy considering their final two opponents are against some tough teams.

Up first is the Kansas City Chiefs, who will come to Paul Brown Stadium riding an eight-game win streak. The Chiefs were 3-4 at one point and left for dead. People thought Patrick Mahomes had been figured out and that Josh Allen and Justin Herbert were the new saviors in the AFC.

Well, Mahomes and the Chiefs righted the ship and are now 11-4 and in the No. 1 seed in the AFC. They’re the only AFC team to have clinched a playoff spot but they still have a ton to play for when they head to the Queen City.

Fortunately for Cincinnati, they don’t HAVE to win this game in order to clinch the division but if they drop this one, they’ll be in a must-win scenario for Week 18 in Cleveland. Considering how badly the Browns whooped up on our guys in Week 9, that’s not a situation any of us want to be in.

That being said, Kansas City is the current No. 1 seed in the AFC for a reason. They’re not only electric on offense but their defense has really turned things around after a rough first month and a half of the 2021 season.

This might be the toughest game of the season for the Bengals and if they can go toe-to-toe with the Chiefs, fans should feel really good about their chances if they do stamp their ticket to the playoffs. Unfortunately, I’m not picking the stripes to win this game. 34-28 Chiefs.
