Cincinnati Bengals who need to step up vs. Chiefs

1. Trey Hendrickson

The threat of Mahomes will loom large on Sunday, so what is the number one way to rattle quarterbacks?

Put constant pressure on them, making their day a nightmare.

Cincy’s pass rush all starts with the Pro Bowler Trey Hendrickson. He will need to assert his dominance once again, applying pressure on Mahomes.

Hendrickson sits at 14 sacks with a sack in 11 straight games. It has been a rarity to see any offensive tackle consistently beat Hendrickson this season. The first-year Bengal pass rusher has even had his way with some of the best tackles in the NFL, like Trent Williams.

There is little reason why Hendrickson cannot dominate once again. His role will surely be important in slowing down the Chiefs’ passing game and Mahomes. When a pass rush is able to dominate, offenses usually struggle. Another dominant showing from Cincy’s defensive line led by Hendrickson would go a long way.

The Bengals will look to take one step closer to clinching the AFC North and sealing a playoff spot on Sunday vs. the Chiefs. Hopefully these three players can step up and help lead the good guys to a much-needed victory over Kansas City.
