Potential playoff matchup for Cincinnati Bengals

Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers are currently the seventh seed and only have to win on Sunday against the Raiders to punch their ticket to the playoffs. This would set up a great matchup between two of the best young quarterbacks in the league and would allow Cincinnati a chance to redeem their earlier defeat.

When the two teams met earlier, LA dominated the beginning and end of the game, scoring 33 of their 41 total points in the first and fourth quarters. In what ended as a blowout, the Bengals would be eager to get another chance to do better as this was the second-worst defeat of the year for Cincinnati.

A rematch between Justin Herbert and Joe Burrow would make for great television and would have plenty of eyes turned to this game.

For the Bengals, this is a matchup that would be a lot more concerning than the Colts, based on what happened when these two teams took the field before. While it is difficult to beat a team twice in the same season, Cincinnati would need to play much better to come away with a win.

A win would not be out of the question and I would expect the game to be close, with Cincinnati potentially being slight favorites.
