Joe Burrow vs. Josh Allen – Wild Card Weekend

The 2020 first overall pick vs. the 2018 seventh overall pick — This is definitely the far more exciting match-up. Josh Allen does have the bigger arm, but thanks to deep threat Ja’Marr Chase along with Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, the Bengals offense is capable of a big play every offensive play.

Chase is averaging just over 18 yards a reception, which is almost two first downs a reception. In fact, all four receivers are averaging over 10 yards a reception. When the offense is clicking, they can’t be stopped — Just ask the Chiefs!

Mahomes face says it all.

Allen not only can sling it downfield but he is accurate, something people worried about before he came into the league. Looking at his stats, Burrow is averaging almost two yards more per attempt. I know they can’t chuck it 20 yards every play, but I felt like the Bills had the great capability for big-time plays.

Given the Bills’ ability for big plays as well as the Bengals’ potential for big plays, this match-up could turn into an offensive feast. Possibly a +/- 75 could easily be the line. However for this matchup to happen the Colts would also have to lose to the Jags, which does not seem likely.
