For the first time in franchise history, the Cincinnati Bengals will play a Week 18 football game. Their first-ever Week 18 matchup comes against the Cleveland Browns, who have been eliminated from playoff contention.

On the other side of the coin, the Bengals, of course, are in the big dance after winning the AFC North last weekend. Seeding is still something to monitor this weekend, as the Bengals could still move out of the No. 3 seed, which is where they currently are.

The Browns don’t have anything to really play for other than pride at this point. Case Keenum is getting the start for this one and Brandon Allen is starting for the Bengals in order to give Joe Burrow an extra week of rest.

Evan McPherson Injury Update

It was a bit surprising to see Cincinnati sign a kicker to the practice squad earlier this week due to how good Evan McPherson has been as a rookie. We found out as the week went on, however, that McPherson had a groin injury, which makes sense to then bring in another kicker. McPherson was limited in practice throughout the week.

Bengals vs Browns Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 18

WynnBET has Cincinnati as a 5-point underdog with a money line of +180. The Browns’ money line sits at -220 and the over/under is set at 37.0 points.

It’s not hard to see why the stripes are near-touchdown underdogs considering they’ll have a fair share of backups in this game. With that in mind, I’ll go with a 24-16 Browns victory. They get the sweep over Cincinnati but I’m not sure Bengals fans would really care all that much to be honest.
