Defense locks it down for the Cincinnati Bengals

Bengals hold Raiders to under 15 points

Some of the best free-agent signings in franchise history have come this year on the defensive side of the ball. The entire unit was completely reshaped, and they have turned into one of the best units in football. Las Vegas has been hit or miss on offense, but let me give you one big reason while they will be a big miss on Saturday — The Weather.

It is going to be cold in Cincinnati, which is going to stall the warm weathered visitors. The Bengals are going to be used to this weather and will have already made adjustments. Because of that, the Raiders will be unable to effectively move the ball all day long.

Derek Carr throws more interceptions than touchdowns

Based on the above prediction, I don’t think this means that Carr has to throw a ridiculous amount of interceptions. Carr ends the day with one touchdown pass to two interceptions.

The Bengals are hungry and looking to not make mistakes that past teams have made in the playoffs. Part of that will mean playing aggressively to force turnovers and give their offense better field position and more time with the ball.

Book it – the Bengals get two interceptions on Saturday.
