6 bold predictions for Bengals vs. Raiders in Wild Card round
By Alex Austin
Can the Cincinnati Bengals end the streak?
Zac Taylor will get off the hot seat
Even at this point, I would not say that Zac Taylor is entirely off the hot seat as Bengals head coach. Now, it would be a mistake to walk him out the door, no matter what happens Saturday. But, if he resorts to his passive offensive playcalling, fans are going to be calling for his job despite the progress the team has made this year.
The last two games (not counting Cleveland since the team clearly punted on that one) have shown what Burrow can do if given the trust. That should have been enough for Taylor to put the ball in his star’s hands when the game is on the line.
Bengals win and advance in the playoffs
The good guys should win this game. They have the better team and will be hungry to be the ones to end the drought. There is not a defense in the league that I would take to stop this Bengals offense, and with the Raiders playing in cold weather, the Cincinnati defense shuts them down.
The Jungle will be rocking from beginning to end in what will be a blowout. The Raiders were able to win in a dramatic fashion, but given the Bengals were able to essentially take a BYE week last week they will be rested, focused, and ready to roll.
