Round 2: Pick 61 – Chad Muma, LB (Wyoming)

So far, the Bengals go with a MAC offensive tackle and a Mountain West linebacker but I’m not sure fans would complain considering the production of both guys. Chad Muma, in particular, is someone who can instantly step into a defense and make it better.

Cincinnati already has one Wyoming linebacker on their roster and we all know how well that’s gone. Why not add another?

Muma was sensational in 2021 for the Cowboys, racking up an astounding 142 tackles (not a typo). Eight of those tackles were for loss. Muma also totaled 1.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, an three interceptions (and he returned two of those for touchdowns).

Cincinnati’s linebacker group performed better than expected this past season but it’d be hard to pass on Muma if he’s there at pick 61. The Bengals should operate under the “best player available” strategy and Muma is that here. He’s PFF’s 47th best overall prospect so getting him at No. 61 is an outright steal.
