Bengals 4-round mock draft: Offensive line focal point early on
Round 4: Pick 137 – John Ridgeway, IDL (Arkansas)
With their final pick in this four-round mock draft, the stripes add help to their interior defensive line with John Ridgeway. The Razorback spent just one season in Fayetteville, as he played for four seasons prior to that with Illinois State.
Ridgeway made the most of it during his one season at Arkansas, tallying 39 tackles (four for loss) and two sacks through 11 games. The 6’6″ 320-pound defensive lineman is tough to defend and would fit in well with the Bengals, who could lose Larry Ogunjobi to free agency this offseason.
Ridgeway is PFF’s 117th best prospect so getting him 20 picks later would be good value. He’s definitely someone who could pack a punch upfront with the stripes.
The Bengals weren’t shy about addressing their offensive line woes early in this draft. Hopefully, the team is aggressive in free agency and doesn’t solely lean on the draft to build their o-line.
How would you feel if the first four rounds of the draft went this way for Cincinnati?
