Cincinnati Bengals Shining Stars

11. Vonn Bell

Vonn Bell had the interception off Patrick Mahomes that put any overtime drama to bed. The Chiefs got the ball first and, after seeing last weekend’s game against the Bills, we were all thinking “Oh crap”.

Bell made sure we didn’t have any overtime rules talk this offseason as a result of this game, picking off Mahomes and putting the Bengals just yards away from Evan McPherson’s field goal range.

He finished the game with six tackles, a defended pass, and the one interception to essentially put the game away. Key free-agent signing by this team.

10. Samaje Perine

One of the few losers last week when the Bengals barely beat the Titans was Samaje Perine, whose costly mistake resulted in an interception and felt like a game-changing moment. This week, however, Perine changed the narrative and gave his team momentum.

Perine had a big touchdown catch and run for 41 yards to make it 21-10, which was the beginning of the 18-point run by the stripes’ offense. He finished the game with three receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown.
