11 shining stars from Bengals’ AFC Championship victory vs. Chiefs

Cincinnati Bengals Shining Stars
2. Tee Higgins
I debated putting Tee Higgins as the shining star but ultimately put him second. With Chase bottled up for most of the game, Burrow turned to his WR2 and Higgins didn’t disappoint.
The second-year receiver finished his first-ever AFC title game with six catches for 103 yards with a long of 44 yards. Whenever the Bengals needed a key first down, Burrow looked Higgins’ way and he had his signal caller’s back. That’s why having three WR1-caliber players was smart on Cincinnati’s part because when Chase is essentially taken out of the game, it allows Higgins or Tyler Boyd to step up instead.
1. Joe Burrow
Putting the quarterback No. 1 is predictable but can you blame me? Joe Burrow proved once and for all that he’s elite. He’s only in year two with this team and they’re in the freaking Super Bowl.

Crazy what one player of that caliber can do for a team
In this game, Burrow threw for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception but he also dashed for 25 yards on five carries including several Houdini acts when the pocket collapsed. The Chiefs pass rush only sacked him one time and that was because Burrow was so good in those moments.
We all knew this kid could be special and make the Bengals a contender but I don’t think many of us predicted it’d happen in year two of his career. Yet… Here we are.
To the Super Bowl we go.
