Left Tackle: Terron Armstead

At this point, everyone assumes the Bengals are going to go for Saints left tackle Terron Armstead, so I’ll join the club!

This is a signing that if it happened, I’d be cautiously optimistic. Don’t get me wrong, Armstead is great, but the injuries definitely concern me. He hasn’t started a full regular season throughout his nine-year career and for a guy playing the most important position on the o-line, that isn’t ideal.

Even with that being the case, Bengals fans want Armstead in the Queen City and he’s definitely one of the best options available in free agency. The guy is projected to have a market value of four years $95 million per Spotrac, which is a lot of dough to spend on a guy with injury concerns, especially when you also take into account that he’s over 30 years old.

If Armstead were to come to Cincinnati and could stay relatively healthy, however, there’s no doubt that he’d protect Burrow’s blindside and keep the young signal-caller upright.
