2. Jonah Williams

While it does feel like Jonah Williams could move spots on the o-line next season, would any of us be surprised if he was still the starting left tackle in 2022? I know I wouldn’t.

Williams was the Bengals’ first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, selected 11th overall. He missed his entire rookie season due to injury and then missed another six games in 2020, also due to injury.

This past season was a massive one for Williams and he came through for the most part. He started all but one game (sitting out in the season finale due to the Bengals already clinching the division) and played pretty well. He finished the season with a PFF grade of 77.5.

A big eye sore on Williams’ season, however, was the eight sacks he allowed throughout the season. In comparison, Brown allowed just four sacks on the year.

Williams will be a starter on the o-line in 2022 but he’s not guaranteed to start at left tackle. If he does, however, no one will really be that surprised.
