3. Tyler Linderbaum

The only draft prospect listed in not only this article, but in any of my articles with offensive line options is Tyler Linderbaum of Iowa. I’d love to see this kid end up in a Bengals uniform but it’s going to be tricky.

The Draft Network has Linderbaum as their No. 11 prospect in the entire 2022 NFL Draft and the best center prospect. That means that he’s going to be a popular target in the first round and the stripes might have to move up to land him.

Something else to keep in mind too is that centers tend to slide in the first round sometimes. Fans are certainly hoping that’s the case when round one gets underway and there’s a way for Cincinnati to get this kid. Linderbaum is someone who will only be able to play center, which is why his value might not be as high.

Back when I did my original prediction of who will start on the o-line, I went with Linderbaum and I really could see him landing with this team. It’s all going to depend on how many other teams value someone who only plays center and isn’t versatile.

Cincinnati would gladly take him if he’s there at 31.
