1. Ryan Jensen

I mentioned how in the first offensive line projection I went with Tyler Linderbaum at center. Well, in my most recent one, Ryan Jensen is who I predicted would be starting at center for the Bengals in 2022.

PFF backed up my projection by predicting that Jensen would sign a three-year deal worth $39 million with an annual salary of $13 million and $24.25 million in guaranteed money. This is also the projected contract they had for Jensen in their free-agent write-up, where he was listed as the No. 12 best free agent this spring.

Simply put, signing Jensen would be one of the best moves that the Bengals could make this offseason. He’s been durable throughout pretty much his entire career, not missing a single regular-season start over the last five years.

Jensen turns 31 years old in May so this contract would take him through his age 33 season. It’s a solid contract for the best available center at a major position of need for Cincinnati.

Until Ryan Jensen is strongly rumored to be landing elsewhere, I’m holding out hope that he dons the black and orange stripes over the next three years.
