1. Jonah Williams

In my prediction of the Bengals’ starting offensive line for 2022, I had the team moving Jonah Williams from left tackle to right tackle and Terron Armstead stepping in at left tackle.

Don’t get me wrong, Williams is a good player and he’s the one guy on last season’s line that will for sure be starting when the 2022 season gets underway. The issue is that left tackle might not be the best spot for him, as he gave up eight sacks last season, per PFF.

There’s no doubt that Williams will be a starter in 2022 but it wouldn’t be surprising at all if the team turned to free agency to sign a new left tackle and in doing so, moved Williams to right tackle. I also wouldn’t be shocked to see Williams in one of the two guard positions but for now, let’s go with right tackle as the likeliest spot for him next season.
