Bengals Schedule: Way too early record prediction for 2022
AWAY opponents for 2022
Baltimore Ravens
Like I mentioned in the home matchup against the Ravens, this Baltimore team will be a lot better with their entire roster healthy and able to take the field. If Cincinnati swept them again, that would be extremely impressive on the Bengals’ part. I don’t think it happens though.
The Ravens will escape a very close game. This would be a game that could go to overtime, and they win it in the hands of Justin Tucker at home in Baltimore.
Cleveland Browns
For some reason, Cincinnati tends to struggle against the Browns. Now, I don’t have them getting swept like this past year but these two teams could split the season series this year due to Cincy not always matching up great against Cleveland.
The Browns win this one with a late comeback in the fourth quarter that ends with a game-winning touchdown or field goal. The good news is that the Bengals will finish the season with a better record on the season and a higher ranking.
Dallas Cowboys
This one has the potential to be a shootout and is one of the better wins in the Bengals’ season. This will be a game where both Dak Prescott and Burrow have monster statistical games, and whoever has the ball last will probably escape with the win.
The defenses could also show up big in this one but more than likely, it’ll come down to Burrow and his receivers vs. Prescott and his receivers. This should be a fun one in Big D.
New England Patriots
A close game, but the Cincinnati Bengals win. Unless the Patriots add some viable talent to the offense, I don’t think they can keep up with the Cincinnati offense. Not to mention the frustration that All-Pro cornerback J.C. Jackson has been showing about the Patriots’ initiative to sign him. If he leaves, that will be a significant loss for a Patriots defense that was one of the best last season.
Predicted Record: 8-4
