The Cincinnati Bengals shocked the world by reaching the Super Bowl in only year two of Joe Burrow’s NFL career. They won four games in 2021 and totally flipped the script, winning the AFC North and then clawing their way to the biggest game in all of sports.

While the stripes came up short in their quest for their first Lombardi Trophy, seeing Burrow ball out and knowing this team is capable of being a Super Bowl contender will work in Cincinnati’s favor this offseason. Guys are going to want to play with Burrow and we’ve already seen that be the case, as D.J. Reader chose Cincinnati specifically to play with the former No. 1 overall pick.

If the Joe Burrow effect is real, this team needs to take advantage and find players who could help turn this squad into the best team in the AFC. Superteam isn’t a term we like to throw out there lightly but if the Bengals play their cards right, they could absolutely build a super team this offseason.

Who are some free agents Cincinnati could add this offseason that would make them a Superteam in the 2022 season? I took a look at some offensive linemen, pass rushers and other positions of need that could turn the Bengals from a great team into a Superteam.
