4. Von Miller (EDGE)

The Bengals’ EDGE situation is interesting. Their pass rush was much improved in 2021 but there were times where it felt non-existent. Trey Hendrickson was a beast and Sam Hubbard came on strong at the end of the season but those two were the biggest threats.

This year should give us Joseph Ossai’s NFL debut, as he was injured last preseason and couldn’t play during the regular season. With Ossai returning, it’s doubtful that Cincinnati puts a lot of money into the pass-rushing department this spring.

The Bengals saw first-hand how good Von Miller is in the Super Bowl and while he’s an awesome player, I’m not sure he’s a fit for the stripes.

3. Tyrann Mathieu (Safety)

As is the case with Marcus Williams, the Bengals won’t be in the market for a safety (at least not one of the top options) due to placing the franchise tag on Jessie Bates. Tyrann Mathieu is a wonderful player but Cincy won’t be targeting the Honey Badger.
