2. Chandler Jones (EDGE)

This past season was yet another explosive one for Chandler Jones, who had 10.5 sacks. Two years prior, he totaled 19 sacks, which is his career-high. He’s an awesome player who has no problem sacking the quarterback and making them uncomfortable in the pocket.

While it’d be a lot of fun to see Chandler Jones in the stripes getting after the quarterbacks, he’s probably not a target for the Bengals due to the team not desperately needing to address the position, cost, and Jones’ age (he’s entering his age-32 season). It’s definitely fun to think about him joining this defense though.

1. Terron Armstead (Left Tackle)

The best free agent on the market is Terron Armstead, who has played the entirety of his nine-year career in New Orleans. Armstead has been one of the best left tackles in the league during his near-decade-long NFL career but the one major blemish on his resumé is that he’s injury-prone.

The former third-round pick has yet to play in every regular-season game in a season during the course of his career and that’s not ideal. When he’s on the field, he’s excellent, but can the Bengals afford to pay him nearly $100 million when he frequently battles the injury bug?

Armstead would be a tremendous fit for the Bengals, as he’d give them their franchise left tackle for the next four or five years. The problem is that he’s injury-prone, so how much money do they want to invest in an oft-injured offensive tackle?
