1. Terron Armstead

The best free agent on the market just so happens to be an injury-prone player. Terron Armstead has been in the league since 2013 but has yet to play a full regular season. For a guy who’s potentially set to earn roughly $100 million, that’s an alarming stat.

Armstead might frequently get bit by the injury bug but when the guy is healthy, there are few left tackles who are better than him. He’s a three-time Pro Bowler and protected a future Hall of Fame quarterback for most of his career.

Armstead is going to be an expensive acquisition but if the Bengals were to add him, they’d have their franchise left tackle. Adding him would mean that Jonah Williams would have to transition from left tackle to either right tackle or one of the guard spots but maybe that’s not the worst idea in the world.

If Cincinnati is going to roll the dice on any injury-prone free agent, Terron Armstead seems like a good choice.
