The Cincinnati Bengals were aggressive in improving their offensive line when the legal tampering period opened up, getting two solid options on their o-line. Right tackle still needs to be addressed though.
Last season, the stripes had Riley Reiff start at right tackle. He ended up getting injured near the end of the regular season, however, and that was when the offensive line officially began to spiral. Reiff is now a free agent, meaning the Bengals have to either bring him back or find someone to replace him.
Who is still available for the stripes to sign in free agency? Let’s take a look at some options
3. Darryl Williams
A former fourth-round pick out of Oklahoma, Darryl Williams is worth a look for Cincinnati. Williams spent five years in Carolina and played for the Bills the past two years. Buffalo released Williams to save cap space and now the long-time right tackle is available for another team to sign.
The Bengals should look into signing Williams to fill their right tackle void because he’s a solid option at the position. Last season, he received an overall PFF grade of 67.5. He’s a versatile player, having spent time at both right guard and right tackle during his time in Buffalo.
