2. Riley Reiff

As mentioned in the opening slide, Riley Reiff is hitting free agency after one year in Cincinnati. He played left tackle for eight years with the Lions and Vikings but signed with the Bengals expecting to be moved to the right side of the line.

Reiff was fine at right tackle but the injuries are definitely concerning moving forward. He missed a total of nine games (including the playoffs) and the Bengals certainly wouldn’t want to break the bank to re-sign Reiff.

At this point, it doesn’t feel as though they’ll put a ton of money into signing a right tackle and Reiff would be an affordable option. He played decent enough that fans would likely be okay with retaining him but the team would need to have a viable backup option in case the injury bug bites again.

If the Bengals are looking for a familiar face to slot in at right tackle, Reiff makes a lot of sense for them. He’s already familiar with the offense and proved he could still play well.
