Ryan Fitzpatrick

All of the other guys on this list last played with the Bengals in the past few years but Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t donned the stripes since 2008. He was drafted by the Rams in the seventh round of the 2005 NFL Draft but landed with Cincinnati in 2007 where he spent the next two years.

Fitzpatrick appeared in 14 games, making 12 starts, and threw for 1,905 yards, eight touchdowns, and nine interceptions during that time. The Bengals were second in a long list of teams that the Harvard product played for and it’s very possible that newer, younger fans didn’t know he ever played for Cincy.

Fitzpatrick signed with Washington last offseason (the ninth team he’s suited up for) and was injured in the first game of the season. At 39-years-old, he’s not a long-term answer and honestly shouldn’t be a starting quarterback at this stage of his career.

The Amish Rifle is a solid backup to have though and he’s proven that during his impressive career. He should eventually find a home if he wants to continue playing but it wouldn’t be surprising to see him decide to hang up the cleats and call it a career.
