The Cincinnati Bengals have put together an impressive free agency so far but they shouldn’t call it quits yet. There are plenty of talented names still available on the free-agent market and these five played for the stripes in 2021 and deserve to be re-signed.

Let’s take a look at these five free agents and dive into why the Bengals should bring them back for another year.

5. Kevin Huber

Kevin Huber needs no introduction. The guy has been punting for the Bengals for his entire 13-year career and has missed just two games during that time.

Huber is a Cincinnati native, having been born there and played college football for the Bearcats. That might be an extra reason why Bengals fans would hate to see the guy go. Winning in the Queen City is even more special for him because of everything he’s seen this franchise go through.

Drue Chrisman has been on the Bengals’ practice squad since last spring and he might be the team’s go-to punter moving forward but if the team wants to bring Huber back, fans wouldn’t be upset in the slightest. It’d make sense to re-sign him and give him another shot to win a ring with his hometown team.
