Round 3: Pick 95 – Christopher Hinton, DT (Michigan)

With Larry Ogunjobi not returning (at least not as of now), the Bengals need to add some depth along their defensive line and Christopher Hinton could be an option for them in the third round. Through 13 games with the Wolverines last year, Hinton totaled 32 tackles, two defended passes, and one sack.

The Bengals have a decent d-line entering the 2022 season but Hinton provides another name to compete for some reps in an important year. After a huge improvement on the d-line a season ago, Cincinnati needs to make sure their defense doesn’t take a step back.

Hinton might not be a big name in the draft but he fits the bill for what the Bengals need moving forward and could provide a big-bodied defender on the line.

This Bengals mock draft would give Cincinnati a starting-caliber cornerback, a solid swing offensive lineman, and a potential rotational defensive lineman. How would you feel about things playing out this way?
