Bengals Schedule: 5 games that absolutely must be in primetime in 2022
1. Kansas City Chiefs
Somehow, someway, the Bengals managed to take down the two-time defending AFC Champion Chiefs twice during the 2021 season. The first time came in Week 17 when the Bengals managed to scoot past the Chiefs and that win got them their first division title since 2015.
The second time was in that thrilling come-from-behind victory in the AFC Championship Game. It felt as though the Bengals were toast early in that game but then the defense stepped up in the second half and the Chiefs couldn’t get anything going. It resulted in a new team repping the AFC in the Super Bowl.
With these two teams slated to face each other in 2022, it’s a safe assumption that it’ll be one of the Bengals’ many primetime games. The NFL won’t miss an opportunity to put a rematch of the AFC title game in primetime so don’t be surprised if this is a Sunday night game.
The best news is that it’s in Cincinnati and the Jungle will be roaring loudly that night if the Chiefs do draw the short end of the stick and have to come into Paul Brown Stadium for a Sunday night showdown against the new defending AFC champs.
