The Cincinnati Bengals‘ 2022 draft came and went but there are still some intriguing free-agent options for them to consider bringing in before training camp gets underway.

Let’s take a look at three free agents who are still available that could make sense with the Bengals.

3. Quinton Spain

I’m surprised to see Quinton Spain still on the free-agent market, to be quite honest. No, he’s not a Pro Bowl-caliber player but Spain held down the fort decently at left guard last year, and yet, he’s still waiting to be signed by a team.

As of now, the left guard position in Cincinnati will be filled by Jackson Carman but there’s been some troubling news surrounding last year’s second-round pick. The Bengals took Cordell Volson in the fourth round of this year’s draft and he could be another option there.

Spain played left guard for all but one regular-season game last year so why not re-sign him to what could now be an affordable contract? He’s familiar with the team, the offense, and has experience playing next to Jonah Williams.

Fans wouldn’t be upset to see Spain back in the stripes next season and he could provide a key depth piece or even slide back into his starting role.
