2. Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd

I’m putting two players here but keeping them in the same section because they’re in a similar situation. Both Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins will hit free agency after the 2023 season (so not after this year, but the following season) and with how much money top-tier wide receivers are commanding, they have a chance to strike it rich when their time comes to hit free agency.

The Bengals opted not to draft a wide receiver, which surprised some people considering their lack of depth behind the trio of Boyd, Higgins, and Ja’Marr Chase.

It worked out well for Boyd and Higgins, however, as they’ll continue to hold down those WR2/3 roles in Cincinnati and get their fair share of targets. That will only help up their stock and with that, it’ll make their price tag more expensive moving forward.

Whether or not the Bengals trade either of these guys next offseason will be an interesting storyline to watch but with no new drafted receivers joining the stripes, Boyd and Higgins’ stock are continuing to climb.
