The Cincinnati Bengals‘ schedule for the 2022 regular season has been revealed and the team knows what path they’ll be taking to get back to the playoffs this season.

With the schedule now out, let’s take a way-too-early guess at how the schedule will play out and which games the stripes will win and lose.

Obviously, I can’t predict things such as injuries or suspensions, so these predictions are based on what we know about each team as of now.

With that out of the way, let the way-too-early game-by-game predictions begin!

Week 1 vs. Steelers (Sept. 11 — 1 EST)

Paul Brown Stadium is going to be hyped for the season opener, as it’ll be the first game back in the stadium since the team took down the Raiders in the Wild Card round. Yes, there will be preseason games played in Cincinnati but this is the first game of the regular season and fans are going to be there and they’ll be loud.

The Steelers didn’t fare well against the good guys last year and they’ll have their work cut out for them opening the season against the reigning AFC champion Bengals in a rowdy stadium. Pittsburgh will be trotting either Mitchell Trubisky or Kenny Pickett out to face the young and hungry Bengals defense and either way, it probably won’t end well for either guy.

Prediction: Bengals win 28-20 (1-0)
