Week 17 vs. Bills (Jan. 2 — 8:15 EST) – Monday Night Football

One of the most anticipated matchups on this schedule comes in the second-to-last game of the season. It’s Bengals vs. Bills on Monday Night Football, pitting Joe Burrow against Josh Allen in what could have huge playoff implications.

The Bengals avoided having to play Buffalo in the playoffs last year but they can’t avoid them in the regular season. This game is taking place in the Queen City but it’s going to be a tough one. Allen is known for his late-game heroics and sadly, he’ll throw the game-winning touchdown pass in the final seconds to hand Cincy a late-season loss.

Prediction: Bengals lose 32-28 (10-6)

Week 18 vs. Ravens (Jan. 8 — 1:00 EST)

In their final game of the 2022 season, the Bengals host the Ravens and this game could determine who wins the AFC North. Fortunately, last year the good guys had the AFC North locked up before Week 18 so they were able to rest their starters.

If the Ravens remain healthy this year, they might be able to give the stripes a run for their money in the division. Assuming that both teams are mostly healthy for this one or that people aren’t sitting out, I’ll go with the home team in the final game of the 2022 season.

Prediction: Bengals win 17-7 (11-6)

So, there you have it! In my way-too-early game-by-game predictions, the Bengals end up with an 11-6 record, which might be good enough to win the AFC North. At the very least, it should be enough to get them a playoff spot whether it’s as the division winner or a wild card.
