Trade No. 3: Bengals send Jessie Bates to Eagles in exchange for Quez Watkins and 2023 third-round pick

What was once viewed as a weakness on the Eagles roster, the wide receiver position now looks like a strength after the addition of A.J. Brown. That trade was just one of a few moves that have helped the Eagles absolutely nail their offseason. If Howie Roseman stays aggressive, Jessie Bates to the Eagles is something Bengals fans should look out for.

Looking at possible trade compensation, let’s focus on that wide receiver position. The Bengals didn’t draft a single wide receiver in this year’s draft, a surprise to some fans. While Cincinnati arguably has the best trio of wide receivers in the NFL, adding a fourth weapon on the perimeter would be a great move.

The Eagles have Jalen Reagor, Greg Ward, and Quez Watkins, three weapons that Philadelphia should have no issues giving up in order to land Bates. If the Bengals have their pick, it better be Quez Watkins. He is one of the most underrated weapons in the NFL and would be an awesome addition to this Cincinnati offense.

The Bengals add Watkins, and a future third-round pick for Jessie Bates in this trade package.
