Starting DT: B.J. Hill

Reserves: Zachary Carter, Tariqious Tisdale

Billy Price was someone who fans used to roll their eyes at whenever his name was uttered but after the team traded him to New York for B.J. Hill, the name doesn’t annoy people as much. Hill ended up being a major game-changer for the Bengals and all it took to land him was a former first-round bust.

Hill was brought back on a three-year deal to do what he did during the 2021 season. He finished his first season in the Queen City with 50 tackles, 12 QB hits, six tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks. His key interception off of Patrick Mahomes in the AFC Championship Game helped spark that big comeback.

Behind Hill is rookie Zachary Carter out of Florida and UDFA Tariqious Tisdale.

Carter was a surprising pick in the third round, to say the least, but the team obviously saw something in him to spend a Day 2 selection on him. Tisdale has been injury-prone in recent years and will have to fight hard to make the final roster.
