The Rest: Keandre Jones, Carson Wells, and Clarence Hicks

The final three names on the linebacker depth chart are Keandre Jones, Carson Wells, and Clarence Hicks. Jones is the only one out of this bunch to have previously spent time with the Bengals organization and that should help him when it comes to making a roster push.

Jones played for Cincinnati the past two years after they landed him as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland. He had three tackles through five games last year and played in 67% of the special teams snaps last year to just 2% of defensive snaps.

Wells and Hicks are both rookie UDFAs who are looking to make their mark with the team this summer. Wells played at Colorado while Hicks played at UTSA.

This rounds out the linebacker depth chart for the Cincinnati Bengals. I’ll be interested to see if any of the guys listed under ‘The Rest’ can move up the depth chart and try to bump down Johnston and Bachie. Those two guys played well on special teams and that’s an important skill so this position might end up shaking up exactly like this.
