Baltimore Ravens: Patrick Queen

Honestly, finding a player on the Ravens that is considered “overrated” was a bit hard to do. As much as it pains me to say, this Ravens team is pretty properly rated; they have a very solid roster. Labeling Lamar Jackson as overrated would have been petty, so the discussion came down to two players: Rashod Bateman and Patrick Queen.

Rashod Bateman isn’t overrated; the Ravens are just putting way too much faith in him to produce like a WR1 next season. Time will tell with Bateman, but for now, let’s focus on a former teammate of Joe Burrow: Patrick Queen.

Since coming into the league in 2020, Patrick Queen has had high expectations in Baltimore’s blitz-heavy defense. After finishing third in Defensive Rookie of the Year votes, Queen struggled in his sophomore campaign.

Queen shifted from inside linebacker out to the weak side linebacker halfway through the season. Whether or not he remains in that position next season is uncertain, but Baltimore has to get more out of Queen if they want to find success next season.
