3. Mike Hilton

With the third spot comes one of the slyest slot corners in the league. Mike Hilton is both dynamic in the man-to-man game and zone coverage as his skills have been developing during the course of his career in the NFL.

Although he had a 72.3 rating from PFF he still is vastly underrated in comparison to the major corners in the league. He had only two interceptions last year, which is a number to be improved upon from the slot corner position.

Hilton was a major player when tackling last season as he ranked 11th among active corners with 48 solo tackles and 18 assisted tackles. With this, he had six pass deflections in 2021 while giving up a 72% completion percentage in the regular season but lowered that number to 66% in the playoffs.

This being said he has solidified himself over the last five years as a premier slot corner with the Bengals roster but with the new additions from the draft, he will need to show everyone just how underrated he actually is.

Hilton falls as one of the most underappreciated players on the roster as he is active during free agency in the recruiting process. Hilton is the 35th highest-paid corner in the league who still goes out there and gives his all every down and will continue to improve within the Bengals system as this will be his second year with the squad.
