1. Zac Taylor
This time last year, fans weren’t sure if Zac Taylor would be the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals for a fourth season. After his first two years at the helm in the Queen City, Taylor’s Bengals had won just six games. It wasn’t crazy to think that another less than stellar season would have cost him his job.
Fortunately for Taylor, he and his squad reached the final game of the season and came up just short of being crowned Super Bowl champions.
With the Bengals overachieving and making it to the Super Bowl this past year, fans aren’t going to be happy if the team struggles to reach the playoffs this year. He’s now shown that he can get his team to that point and he did so despite some questionable coaching calls and lack of aggression.
This year, Taylor has to be more aggressive when the game is on the line. If he doesn’t and it cost Cincinnati wins, he’ll be the biggest scapegoat on the team.
