Labeling players as forgotten is never nice, but sometimes fans simply forget! With how exciting last season was, most Cincinnati Bengals fans are looking forward, rather than in the rearview mirror.

With that being said, Cincinnati has let some notable players leave in free agency over the past couple of seasons. William Jackson III, Carl Lawson, A.J. Green, Andy Dalton, and Marvin Jones are a couple of names that come to mind off the top of my head. Those guys listed above aren’t the ones we are focusing on here.

Here are a few forgotten former Bengals that are still in the NFL:

3. Josh Bynes

While many Bengals fans should still remember Josh Bynes, some may not know he is still in the league. After leaving the Baltimore Ravens to join the Bengals for the 2020 season, Bynes posted a career-high number of combined tackles in Cincinnati with 99.

Since 2020 was a Covid-riddled season, many fans didn’t get to experience in person how well Bynes played for Cincinnati.

Plays like this were meant to be on display in front of a packed crowd. The Bengals had an extremely tough year in 2020, but that Monday Night Football win is something fans will always look back on and find joy in.

Now entering his 12th season in the league, Bynes is back in Baltimore, where he will likely finish his career.
