The week leading up to the Super Bowl all we heard about was how good the Rams’ defensive line was. No one ever mentioned the Bengals’ D-line, which had been a menace all season. To no Cincy fan’s surprise, the Bengals’ D-line gave Matthew Stafford problems all game long.

Hendrickson was signed as a free agent from New Orleans last year. He had 13.5 sacks with the Saints and he did not miss a beat in Cincy totaling 14 sacks in 2021. He even notched one sack in the Super Bowl.

Entering the 2022 season, CBS Sports has Hendrickson as a top ten EDGE rusher. It appears that the sky is the limit for Hendrickson and Cincy is the perfect fit to see how high he can actually go. He made the NFL top 100 last year and his numbers were better this year.

My guess is he should finish higher than his last year’s spot at 73. He could easily crack the top 50 based solely on his impact in Cincinnati. There is no reason to think he won’t have another great season in 2022 as well.
