5. Jacoby Brissett

After filling in for a suspended Tom Brady and an injured Jimmy Garoppolo in 2016, Jacoby Brissett has spent time as a backup for both the Colts and Dolphins. He started all but one game in the 2019 season due to Andrew Luck’s sudden retirement and found his way onto the field for five starts in Miami last year.

Brissett is a decent option as a backup but if he’s starting more than a handful of games, the team he’s starting for is probably in trouble. This could be the situation Cleveland finds themselves in if Deshaun Watson is suspended for a large chunk of time.

If the Bengals face a Brissett-led Browns team twice this year, they should be able to win both of those games handily.

As mentioned above, Brissett is a decent backup but teams don’t want him starting the majority of a season for them. He’s only listed above Pickett because we’ve seen Brissett in action before.
