4. Tee Higgins

It’s doubtful that the Bengals will be able to keep both Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, especially after seeing how things have gone down with some of the top-name receivers this offseason. The Chiefs and Packers both let their best receivers go via trade and the Bengals might enter a similar situation with Higgins next offseason.

If Cincinnati wants to avoid that happening, they could try to lock Higgins up to an extension before things get nasty. He’s certainly deserving of an extension and has proven that in just two years in the league.

As a rookie, Higgins narrowly missed out on 1,000 yards and likely gets past that mark if Joe Burrow remains healthy throughout the season. In year two, Higgins was even better, tallying 1,091 yards and dominating in the Super Bowl. Had Cincinnati won the big game, Higgins would have had a strong case to win Super Bowl MVP.

It’ll be hard to keep Higgins in a Bengals uniform but if the team acts swiftly, it’s possible.
